Good Friends, When Have You Wrestled With God for a Blessing?

for Genesis 32:22–31

Good friends, when have you wrestled with God for a blessing?
Everyone struggles with inner turmoil, with doubts and questions, with indecision and uncertainty, with the wounds of relationships.

But have you wrestled with God?

Don’t let go of God until you abide in forgiveness and reconciling peace, until you are blessed by the promise of grace, until each piece of bread broken and shared tastes of the divine covenant. Then, go on your way having been changed by God.

Good friends, the Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord’s face shine upon you and be gracious to you, the Lord look upon you* with kindness and give you peace.
