What's New, February 2026
A new calendar year is underway, and we have an abundance of resources on GatheringWorship.ca and in our print magazine to support your worship planning.
MUSIC-PRAYER TYPE is now near the top of the Search menu, right under THEME. This should make it easier to find the kind of worship material you are looking for.
Remember to flag an item (using the ribbon icon) to your personal Favourites folder when you find something you like and may want to use for a future season. It is easier to search your Favourites folder for an item than searching the whole Gathering website. Better yet, create your own Service folder (choose My Services from the dashboard) for each Sunday or for each Season and add the items (using the + icon) to particular folders.
And if you think of something that would make it easier to use GatheringWorship.ca in your worship planning, please suggest it to us. We love to receive your feedback and consider how we can integrate your ideas.
As you come to the end of the Season of Epiphany, you might find these resources helpful:
- Building… Building Up… Building Up Strong: A Call to Worship by Richard Bott
- People Come to Christ by Invitation by Whitney Bruno
- Thanking Faithful Disciples and Volunteers: A Service by Whitney Bruno, great for use near Valentine’s Day
Lent is just around the corner, and all of the prayers and worship materials from the print magazine are now entered into the website:
- Complete Set of Prayers for Worship | Lent-Easter 2026
- Complete Weekly Services for Lent-Easter 2026
As requested by our subscribers, we provide the Complete Prayers for Worship and the Complete Weekly Services for download from the website. These are available until the end of each season.
All of the prayers in this section will also be added individually into GatheringWorship.ca and available for future reference. Be sure to tag as Favourites the ones you like the most and will want to use in the future.
We appreciate that you do not share this file with other churches or colleagues who do not subscribe to Gathering. Please explain to them why you use Gathering and invite them to subscribe.
