Light Creeps into the Sky at Dawn: Lighting the Christ Candle

Light creeps into the sky at dawn, illuminating the early morn. 

A single lamp glows and brightens the room. A flash of lightning across the evening sky brings splendour to the night. 

The Christ candle burning on the communion table brings radiance and delight to our worship.
We remember that Christ is the Light of the World. Thanks be to God!

Au petit matin, l’aube inonde le ciel de sa clarté pour éclairer nos journées. 

Le soir venu, un éclair traverse le ciel et illumine la nuit de sa splendeur. Dans nos maisons, une simple lampe brille et illumine une pièce. 

Au coeur de nos cultes, le cierge pascal brûle sur l’autel de la communion et illumine nos célébrations de sa lumière vive et joyeuse. 
N’oublions jamais que Jésus est la Lumière du monde. Rendons grâce à Dieu !
