Tracking

JavaScript and other codes are included on all pages on our website for use with Google Analytics. Additionally, subscription services are managed through United Church Bookstore, which uses Shopify and may include pixel tracking for Google or Facebook Ad services. The information collected includes IP addresses, browser types, page views, city/province/country of the visitor, cookie information, search terms used, whether you’ve visited our websites before, etc. This type of information may be used for analysis purposes, to provide a better service to site visitors or for marketing purposes on this website or others. Individual traffic patterns will not be disclosed to any third-party except those assisting with delivery of our services.

Cookies

When you visit our website, we or our service partners may automatically set a cookie (a small text file) on your computer. Many sites, including this one, use cookies to track traffic flows and patterns for statistical and marketing purposes. Cookies can also be used to remember your preferences.

The default setting for most web browsers is to automatically accept cookies. You may configure your browser to accept all cookies, to notify you when a cookie is issued, or not to receive cookies at any time. The last option is not recommended, and means that certain services may not be available, including your login to GatheringWorship.ca.

You may choose to opt-out specifically to Google's use of cookies or device identifiers by visiting your Google Ad Settings page.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement.
