Geoff Wilfong-Pritchard shares: “I wrote ‘The Gospel According to Judas’ after the discovery of a papyrus containing that gospel made headlines. It suggested that Judas was not the betrayer of Jesus, but rather his enabler. It’s a cautionary tale about what happens when we seize on Jesus to advance whatever cause might be our own and the way we can justify that action through our own imagined scriptural sanction.
