Scene 1: middle front, and well in front of stable
Modern-day child (MC): (in a frustrated tone) Peace! Everyone is talking about peace! But I don’t notice peace in the world. I don’t even find peace on the playground at school. Peace! Yuck! Peace isn’t a thing. It’s just not possible.
The angel comes up beside the child.
Angel (A): I heard you ranting about peace. But I have news for you. Peace is a thing. Peace is possible in this world.
MC: rolls their eyes and shrugs “whatever.”
A: Come with me. Let’s go on an adventure to find peace. You’ll need some wings (puts wings on MC).
MC: Well, I’m always ready for an adventure.
